Chelsey Bigelow is an Alberta based risk management executive with deep roots in agriculture and Canada’s energy sector. These are industries that shaped her commitment to discipline, accountability, and long-term stewardship.
Raised in a hardworking agricultural family, Chelsey developed an early appreciation for responsibility, conservative values, and operational decision-making. Those values carried into her professional path, where she earned a Certificate and Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and built her career within commercial aviation.
Chelsey became the youngest Director in Canadian aviation history, leading safety and operational governance initiatives with a focus on compliance, structured oversight, and measurable performance standards. Her work centered on strengthening risk management systems and ensuring organizations operated with clarity, accountability, and regulatory integrity. She also served as a founding director of an eight-figure nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women in aviation careers, helping create pathways for merit-based opportunity and professional excellence.
Today, Chelsey specializes in risk management and regulatory strategy for small and medium-sized organizations. She is known for developing practical, defensible frameworks that protect organizations, strengthen governance, and support sustainable growth.
Outside of her professional work, Chelsey is actively involved in North American wildlife conservation, sitting on multiple different boards and committees reflecting her enduring belief in stewardship, responsible hunting and preserving opportunity for future generations.
