James K. Asaad is Chairman and Co-Founder of Native, a Lloyd’s of London-connected global insurance brokerage platform serving public and private companies operating in regulated, high-growth sectors. He also leads Native’s AI, Data Centres and Mining division, overseeing the development of specialist insurance and risk solutions for businesses building and operating critical digital infrastructure.
He is a senior advisor to publicly traded companies across global capital markets, with deep experience supporting boards and executive teams on risk, governance and transaction-related matters. He is also an investor in data centres, technology and AI businesses. Mr. Asaad has acted as a broker, M&A advisor and board-level risk advisor to issuers listed on NASDAQ, NYSE, TSX, TSXV, CSE, LSE and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, advising on enterprise risk, insurance structuring, capital markets readiness and mergers and acquisitions. His experience spans complex cross-border transactions, public listings and post-transaction risk alignment.
He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Risk Advisory Committee for a NASDAQ-listed international issuer and recently joined the external investment committee of a Texas-based investment bank in the United States.
